Benefits Of Swansea University Undergraduate Scholarship

Successful undergraduate candidates will be given up to £6,000 (£4,000 in Year 1 and £2,000 in Year 2 if they achieve a 65 percent average). Postgraduate students at Swansea University in the United Kingdom will receive up to £4,000 for the 2020/2021 academic year.

Swansea University Pharmacy Scholarship

In the Swansea University Pharmacy Scholarship, International students will be eligible for a £2,000 fee discount every year. To apply for this scholarship, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

  1. Recipients must be designated as international students for tuition reasons.
  2. Enrollment in Year 1 of the MPharm (Hons) Pharmacy degree at Swansea University in the academic year 2021/2022, 2022/23, or 2023/24 is required. The scholarship is only available for this degree.
  3. The £2,000 scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee reduction for each of the four years of study in which a student is enrolled, up to a maximum of £8000.
  4. Students who receive SIPS may still apply for other scholarships or bursaries granted by the University or elsewhere, and SIPS will be awarded regardless of other prizes won. However, the terms and circumstances of such awards should be reviewed to ensure that they can be provided in addition to SIPS.
  5. If a scholarship recipient is required to stop their studies, the scholarship will be maintained on the university account and carried over to the year of resumption of studies, with the applicant having to make their personal contribution on a pro-rata basis.

Music Scholarships at Swansea University

In collaboration with St Mary’s Church in Swansea, the choral and organ scholarship initiative is meant to help the scholar’s growth as a musician. The scholarships are co-funded by the University, St Mary’s Church, and the Swansea St Mary’s Choral Trust (SSMCT).

Scholars are entitled to the following advantages:

  • Up to fifteen hours of private instruction in their instrument or voice every year
  • A £650 yearly bursary

Scholars are expected to take an active part in the music of St Mary’s Church in Swansea.

How to Apply for Music Scholarships at Swansea University

Scholarship applications must include an application form, references, and a face-to-face audition.

  • Scholarships are open to all students pursuing taught degree courses; applications are only accepted from currently enrolled students; the application deadline is October 15th.

The School of Management’s Developing Futures Scholarship

The Developing Futures Scholarship at the School of Management is worth up to £2000 and is open to non-EU undergraduate students who have been offered a place at the School of Management. Once awarded, the scholarship sum is taken from tuition expenses for approved candidates.
